VII EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL CONFERENCE “Energy, Environment, Intelligent Use of Minerals: Management and Sustainable Development”

The management of the Continuing Education Center – a branch of the Silesian University of Technology and the Association of Alumni of the Silesian University of Technology, CKI Rybnik Branch, are organizing an international scientific and technical conference “Energy, Environment, Minerals Exploitation – Management and Sustainable Development” (Energy, Environment, Intelligent Use of Minerals: Management and Sustainable Development) . The conference will be held on 06-09.06.2022 at the facilities of the Silesian University of Technology in Rybnik. During the conference, study visits of participants are planned to energy and mining plants, “mining-related” plants, as well as to places where post-mining activities are developed in the natural environment. Trips presenting low-emission and pro-ecological activities are also planned. The previous editions of the conference were very highly appreciated in the academic, energy and mining environment as well as in local government institutions. They were a forum for the exchange of experiences of the energy and mining environment and presented the current and prospective opportunities for the development of energy and mining, in cooperation with local communities. We would like to continue this positive experience.
