Dear Colleagues,

After a long break caused by Covid-19 pandemia, we would like to continue our tradition of organizing the Symposium on Biotransformations.

As the Organizing Committee Members, we are honoured to invite all of you to the 5th Symposium on Biotransformations for Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industry, which will be held on June 13-15, 2022, in Kraków-Częstochowa Upland (Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska).
The Symposium will be a great chance to bring together researchers from academia, scientific institutions and industry, and to discuss the latest advances in biotransformation research, as well as future perspectives in the field. We hope, that it will cover many aspects of biotransformations in various branches, including pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industry. Since biotransformations perfectly fit into the strategy of sustainable development and green chemistry, we hope that science will meet industry, and many new networks and long lasting contacts will be created.
We would like to inform you, that professors: Ulf Hanefeld from TU Delft, The Netherlands; Edmond Magner from the University of Limerick, Ireland and Dirk Tischler from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany have already announced their participation.

We encourage young as well as experienced chemists, chemical engineers, biochemists, biotechnologists and microbiologists to share their results and experience in the field.
Except for the lectures and presentations, the program will also include poster presentations.
We hope that you enjoy the conference and the beautiful and charming environment of Kraków-Częstochowa Upland!
