The European Convention of Engineering Deans (ECED) is SEFI’s flagship annual event, bringing together engineering deans, academic leaders, and key stakeholders from across Europe and beyond.
ECED 2026 offers a high-level forum for strategic dialogue on the future of engineering education, with a strong focus on leadership, governance, and institutional development.

Keynote Speaker Confirmed
Virginijus Sinkevičius, Member of the European Parliament and former European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, is confirmed as keynote speaker.
The programme also features Artur Pollak, Founder and CEO of APA Group, bringing an industry perspective.
