Student Poster Session
Theme:
Student Visions for the Circular Engineering Future
Purpose
The Student Poster Session will showcase up to 20 student posters presenting innovative ideas, projects and collaborations related to the circular, digital and human-centric transformation of engineering.
Eligibility
Open to BSc, MSc and early PhD students (first two years) from European universities, individually or in teams (1–4 students), including student teams, scientific clubs, industry-collaboration projects and European University Alliances.
At least one author must attend ECED 2026 in person and be present during the poster session.
Submission
Submissions are based on a short abstract (max. 220 words) covering:
• the idea or problem tackled
• the innovative aspect
• the link to the ECED 2026 theme
• (optional) collaboration with industry or alliances
All submitted posters that meet the formal requirements will be accepted for presentation.
Submission deadline:
27 April 2026
Poster Format
A1 (594 × 841 mm), portrait orientation.
An official poster template will be provided to participants via email after registration.
Posters must be prepared in English. Institutional and partner logos are allowed.
Poster Preparation & Submission
Participants must submit a PDF version of their poster by 18 May 2026 to:

Posters will be printed and displayed by the organisers.
Display & Presentation
Posters will be available for viewing from Day 1 (25 May) and throughout the conference.
Authors are expected to be present during the Poster Walk to present and discuss their work.
Awards
A Best Poster Award and up to two Honourable Mentions will be granted by a jury of SEFI Corporate Partners.
Representatives of awarded poster teams will be invited to the Industrial Night, where the awards will be presented.
Student Fee & Accommodation
Reduced student fee (100 EUR early / 150 EUR regular) and limited low-cost dormitory accommodation may be available (subject to availability).
